Puketutu Island
FILM LOCATION

The Sir Henry Kelliher Charitable Trust was established in the 1950's and is named after its Settlor, the late Sir Henry Kelliher, who founded DB Breweries. Its major asset is Motu-O-Hiaroa - Puketutu Island in the Manukau Harbour. The Trust
derives income from a number of investments, including activities on the Island, from which charitable distributions are made.

The Charitable Trust is pleased to offer sites on the northern side of Puketutu Island for use as still and film locations. Puketutu Island offers a myriad of possibilities, all within 25km of the Auckland CBD.

Since the Island is privately owned, public access is restricted ensuring unencumbered filming. Visual and noise pollution are minimal and predictable.

Puketutu Island, on its northern side, offers numerous location sites, from stonewalled farm scenes, pine and eucalyptus stands, subtropical gardens, to beaches and rocky outcrops.

Rates (exclusive of GST)

Daily: $1500.00/day
Weekly: By negotiation
All Bookings are to be made through the Charitable Trust Secretary.

Puketutu Island Location Assistance

Our Island Custodians are available to assist as and when you require, but on
pre-agreed terms. We do require their use to pilot large vehicles through the
restricted quarry area. Any charge for their time, outside their normal working hours, would be independent of the Kelliher Charitable Trust.
